FEDERAL WORK-STUDY (FWS): Federal Work Study is a federal employment program that places students in campus jobs. Students may work up to 20 hours per week. Work Study funds are limited. Priority funding consideration will be given to students who submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the March 2nd priority funding consideration deadline each year. Employment opportunities include community service.
Notification of Award Eligibility
- All students will receive an electronic notification from the Financial Aid Office to check their award eligibility online via MyCSUMB. Students will need to contact the Financial Aid Office with requested information, as necessary. All eligible students must meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy for consideration. To be placed on the 2012-2013 FWS Waitlist, contact the Financial Aid Office at 831-582-5100.
STUDENT EMPLOYMENT: The Student Assistant Employment program funded by CSUMB places students in part-time campus employment. For details and an employment application, you should call the CSUMB Career Development Office (831-582-3845) or visit the Career Development Office website.
