Hello, my name is Ana Martinez. I was born and raised in the Tri County area. I graduated from CSU Monterey Bay in 2006 and earned Master’s Degree in 2008 from the University of Phoenix. I started working at CSUMB in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative at the Campus Service Center, and I joined the Financial Aid Department as a Financial Aid Counselor in 2009. My favorite part of my job is assisting students navigate through the process of applying for Financial Aid.

Johanna Mahoney

I am Johanna Mahoney. I was born in Central America and raised in Southern California.  English is my second l language. I began working at CSUMB in 2002 as a Student Assistant in the Registrars Office and joined the Admissions Department shortly after.

While at CSUMB, I was a collegiate athlete on the Women's Basketball team. I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Communication. I joined the Financial Aid Department as a Financial Aid Counselor in 2009. I am the financial aid point of contact for Outside Scholarships and Chafee Foster Youth Students.  I am passionate about  my position at CSUMB because it allows me to have an active role in the lives of many students as they pursue their academic goals.

Hello, my name is Adriana Pacheco. I was born in Mexico, and migrated to the United States when I was three years old. I lived in Gilroy, Ca. throughout my childhood and teenage years. I recently graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Leon Panetta Institute for Public Policy.  I began working in the Financial Aid office as a Counselor in September of 2006. Before this position I held many other jobs including: student assistant, retail clerk, and at local ranches in Gilroy with my family. My favorite part of my job is keeping CSUMB's Vision Statement alive by serving the local underrepresented student population navigate through the process of applying for Financial Aid.

Ashlie McCallon

Hello, my name is Ashlie McCallon. I was born in Tarzana, CA but I grew up in a little town called Los Osos, Ca (in San Luis Obispo county). I  graduated from CSUMB in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Integrated Studies and I recently earned my Master's Degree in Education at San Jose State.  I originally began my career as a Financial Aid student assistant in 2003 and have worked my way up to a Financial Aid Counselor since then. My favorite part of my job is helping students accomplish their dream of pursuing a secondary education.

MaryHelen Dorado
Hello my name is MaryHelen Dorado and I graduated from CSUMB in 2006 with a BA in Liberal Studies. I have worked in financial aid for over 20 years and I am thrilled to work at CSUMB. My goal is to make the financial aid process as seamless as possible, thus allowing students to focus on their education endeavors. My favorite part of my job is awarding financial aid to all students in a streamlined manner.
