Financial Aid Counselors
Hello, my name is Ana Martinez. I was born and raised in the Tri County area. I graduated from CSU Monterey Bay in 2006 and earned Master’s Degree in 2008 from the University of Phoenix. I started working at CSUMB in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative at the Campus Service Center, and I joined the Financial Aid Department as a Financial Aid Counselor in 2009. My favorite part of my job is assisting students navigate through the process of applying for Financial Aid.

Hello, my name is Johanna Mahoney. I was born in Central America and raised in Southern California. I started working at CSUMB in 2002 as a student assist in the Registrars Office and then as a staff member in the Admissions department. While at CSUMB, I played collegiate Womens Basketball and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Human Communication. I joined the Financial Aid Department as a Financial Aid Counselor in 2009. I am the financial aid point of contact for Outside Scholarships and Chafee Foster Youth Students. My favorite part about my job is being able to make a difference in someone's educational and personal life.
Hello, my name is Adriana Pacheco. I was born in Mexico, and migrated to the United States when I was three years old. I lived in Gilroy, Ca. throughout my childhood and teenage years. I recently graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a Masters Degree in Public Policy from the Leon Panetta Institute for Public Policy. I began working in the Financial Aid office as a Counselor in September of 2006. Before this position I held many other jobs including: student assistant, retail clerk, and at local ranches in Gilroy with my family. My favorite part of my job is keeping CSUMB's Vision Statement alive by serving the local underrepresented student population navigate through the process of applying for Financial Aid.
Hello, my name is Ashlie McCallon. I was born in Tarzana, CA but I grew up in a little town called Los Osos, Ca (in San Luis Obispo county). I graduated from CSUMB in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Integrated Studies and I recently earned my Master's Degree in Education at San Jose State. I originally began my career as a Financial Aid student assistant in 2003 and have worked my way up to a Financial Aid Counselor since then. My favorite part of my job is helping students accomplish their dream of pursuing a secondary education.
