Alan Church Environmental Steward Scholarship for Marine, Coastal, and Watershed Systems
Amount: $800

Selection Criteria:  Major in Biology, Earth Science, Technology or Policy. Must be starting Junior or Senior year. Minimum 2.75 GPA, Full Time. Priority will be for students whose research addresses a local issue and benefits the local shoreline and/or sand dune habitat of Marina, Seaside/Fort Ord, Sand City, Monterey or Pacific Grove.

Alumni Association Scholarship
Amount: $500

Selection Criteria: Scholarship is available to new, continuing, or upper division transfer, and graduate students. New applicants must be from the Tri-county area, all applicants must qualify with a GPA of 2.75, and demonstrate financial need.

American Association of University Women
Amount $1200

Applicants must meet the following criteria and provide documentation if requested:

• Cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or better
• Completion of 60 units prior to the start of the 2012 - 2013 school year
• Projected full time enrollment next semester
• Residency in Monterey County
• Willingness to participate in a personal interview, if selected
• 2 Recommendation letter(s) preferred
• College transcript (unofficial)
• US Citizenship

Assemblyman Salinas Scholarship
Amount: $500

Selection Criteria: Scholarship is available to undergraduate/graduate migrant students who demonstrate financial need, are first generation, and/or economically disadvantaged.

CHISPA Scholarship
Amount: Varies

Selection Criteria: Undergraduate student, demonstrate financial need, live in housing developed by CHISPA, or have family who lives in housing developed by CHISPA.

E. Richard Brown Scholarship
Amount: $500

Selection Criteria: Undergraduate, demonstrate Financial Need, full time enrollment, encouragement of outstanding performance while enrolled at CSUMB.

First National Bank Scholarship
Amount: $500

Selection Criteria: Scholarship is available to undergraduate & graduate students who demonstrate financial need.

Florence C. and Alwin Krause Scholarship
Amount: $750 - $3,000

Selection Criteria: available to students enrolled in CSUMB's HCOM Program. Interested applicants must have completed 60 units at the time of award, and demonstrate financial need per the campus Financial Aid Office. A FAFSA Application is required to be on file at the time of applying.

Fort Ord Alumni Association Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Selection Criteria: Special consideration will be given to undergraduate/graduate students who are descendants (son, daughter or grandchild) of persons who served at Fort Ord during the course of their military service, or who served in any branch of the military, or who themselves served in the military or are disabled veterans. Eligibility, however, is not restricted to those who meet these criteria.

Frank McDowell Scholarship
Amount: $5,000

Selection Criteria: Scholarship is available to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need and who otherwise would not qualify for federal or state aid to to legal status.

Genevieve Giammanco Memorial Scholarship
Amount: Varies

Selection Criteria: Scholarship is available to upper division undergraduate students who are in Teledramatic Arts and Technology (TAT) major. Priority is for students who are veterans, re-entry, first-generation, or under-privileged.

Hermana Scholarship
Amount: $500-$1,000

Selection Criteria: Incoming freshman from Monterey County with demonstrated financial hardship, evidence of having overcome personal challenges, and evidence of community service.

Jane Pere Johnson Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Selection Criteria: First priority is to qualified students who attended at least two years and graduated from Chualar Elementary School. Second Priority is to qualified students who attended at least two years and graduated from Gonzales High School, Third Priority is to qualified students who attended at least one year and graduated from Hartnell College.

Juanita Villarreal Scholarship
Amount: $250-1,000

Selection Criteria: Re-entry student from the Monterey County area.

Leadership Salinas Valley Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Criteria: Scholarship available to undergraduate student from Salinas Valley with financial need.

One-Time Scholarship Donations
Amount: $500-1,000

Selection Criteria: Undergraduate Student majoring in Global Studies, demonstrate financial need.

Peggy Bates Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Selection Criteria: Undergraduate Student who has applied to the Teaching Credential Program. Based solely on merit, not financial need. Minimum GPA 3.2.

Robert Taylor Scholarship
Amount: $500

Selection Criteria: Undergraduate/Graduate students who demonstrate remaining financial need.

Ron Cisneros Vision Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Selection Criteria: First generation undergraduate/graduate students. Applicants are considered for their academic achievement & promise, career goals & aspirations, community involvement, school activities, & financial need.

Ruark-Wight Distinguished Veterans Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Selection Criteria:  Full time undergraduate students who are considered a veteran from active duty or the reserve from any of the military branches. No minimum GPA required. Eligibility for Financial Aid is not required. Student must provide copy of DD214 (proof of active military service) with application.

Tri-County Vision Scholarship
Amount: $2,500

Selection Criteria: Undergraduate students from Monterey Tri-County area who meet the required academic standards for admission to CSUMB and who have been actively involved in the community. Must demonstrate financial need.

Amount: Varies

Selection Criteria: Undergraduate/Graduate students who are in the Visual and Public art Major who demonstrate academic merit and are recommended by VPA Faculty.

Women's Leadership Council Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Selection Criteria: Scholarship is open to all re-entry students.

Yukon & Clemence Chow Scholarship
Amount: $1,000

Selection Criteria: Full-time undergraduate or graduate student with financial need. Evidence the appropriate academic record, motivation and promise to warrant such financial aid.
